About Us

Our journey started with a few RWYB (Run What You Brung) days at the legendary Santa Pod Raceway, where we quickly discovered just how thrilling drag racing could be. It wasn’t long before our team caught the eye of Ian, the resident photographer at Santa Pod. He saw the potential in our racing efforts and, in introduced us to Luke Stevenson the chairman of the VWDRC (Volkswagen Drag Racing Club).

Luke recognized our enthusiasm and drive, and, before we knew it, we were invited to participate in some of the VWDRC’s official events.

This was a pivotal moment for Fast Cow Racing a moment where a bit of family spirit, a lot of hard work, and a shared love for racing started to fuel something bigger than we could’ve imagined.

Since then, we’ve been embracing opportunity to learn about the our VW Beetle’s characteristics and grow by attending many more RWYB days. 

Whether it’s getting our hands dirty with the cars, bonding over strategy, or just pushing ourselves to be faster and better, Fast Cow Racing is more than just a team; it’s a family legacy in the making.

We are looking forward to competing in every VWDRC even in the 2026 season and plan for some serious upgrades over the coming autumn and winter months of 2025!
